AFC North Draft & Roster Review 2024
After kicking off our divisional draft and roster review series with the NFC North earlier in the week, we’re switching conferences and look at the Ravens, Bengals, Browns and Steelers!
I’ll quickly break down each of their new players and relate them to what the rest of the roster and their role within it could look like!
The Steelers and Falcons are coming for your lunch money
With both these teams having had questions around their offensive play-caller and second-year quarterback, the way to get back on track for them was to re-dedicate themselves to more diverse run games. However, they’re doing it in slightly different ways.
I broke down what that plan looked like for these teams this past Sunday, what this can create for them and how I believe they’ll be trying to control matchups this way going forward!
AFC North 2023 draft & roster review
We continue our divisional draft & roster review series, switching from the NFC to the AFC North!
Once again, I’ll give a quick scouting report on every single player selected, talk about each team’s class overall & at the end of the video, rank those four against each other!
The seven sins of NFL week seven:
With Halloween coming up and the seventh week of games in the books, the theme of “the seven (deadly) sins” came to mind for me and I decided to take a closer look at the most recent slate of games through that lense. That way I would seven terms to describe how certain teams hurt themselves by committing those errors.
AFC North Draft & Roster Review 2022
Continuing our divisional draft breakdown series, where we move on from the NFC to the AFC North!
Once again, I’ll give a short scouting report on every player, talk about their fit on the roster & how that works with the other moves they’ve made in the offseason.
Be sure to follow along, as we work our way through the league, alternating between NFC & AFC!
How the Steelers psychologically own the Bengals:
I love the AFC North rivalries and Steelers versus Bengals is always penciled in on my schedule, but Pittsburgh has now won six in a row and nine of the last ten in this matchup. In the seven games they’ve played over the last three seasons, only two were decided by more than one score, but Cincinnati somehow can’t seem to finish against their division rivals, despite objectively putting up a better effort a lot of times. I want to dive into why the Bengals can’t seem to make this an even series.
Why Le’Veon Bell is the best running back in the NFL right now:
Le’Veon Bell racked up 2215 yards from scrimmage this year which ranks him second among all players only behind DeMarco Murray from the Cowboys. He also was a big reason the Steelers won their division this year for the first time since 2010. To me he is the best overall-running back in the league at this point. The following should tell you why he’s so good.
