Following my analysis of the top wide receivers in the draft, here’s my list of the guys covering them. To me cornerbacks either have to be able to take the responsibility of covering receivers one-on-one or bring versatility, because they have more value than system players. And I like my corners to have an attitude.

In recent years we have seen a lot of receivers have success early on in their career and as the league becomes more and more pass heavy coaches look for different skill sets. While a lot receivers have become bigger and stronger, smaller and quicker players can also make a big impact. I don’t think this draft class is quite as deep as the more recent ones and there probably are no superstars like Odell Beckham Jr. and Co., but the 2016 class certainly has some great playmakers.

Over the course of the last one-and-a-half weeks I listed my top 10 runningbacks, linebackers, offensive tackles and interior offensive lineman and edge rushers. I continue with the best interior defensive linemen, which includes nose tackles, base D-tackles who line up across from guards and three-techniques on the guard’s outside shoulder. This class is very deep and you can find quality starters probably all the way down to day three, while there also could be five to six of them ending up in the first rounds.

I started out with my top 10 runningbacks, linebackers, offensive tackles and interior offensive linemen in the 2016 NFL Draft. Now I’m taking a look at the best edge rushers in this year’s class. As we just saw in the Super Bowl and the games leading up to it, a team like the Bronos, with two elite outside pass rushers can make life really hard on opposing quarterbacks and have a lot of success that way. And while this year’s draft class might not be the deepest we’ve seen in recent time, there are some intruiging prospects out there. To make this clear – this list includes 4-3 defensive ends and 3-4 outside linebackers.

Adding to my top 10 linebackers and runningbacks in the draft I now give you my best offensive tackles and interior offensive linemen. With some of those guys I’m just projecting which kind of players they could become, even though there might be a couple of things they still have to work on.

After publishing my top 10 running backs in the 2016 NFL Draft, I did an edition on the best guys matching them – the linebackers. For this segment I left out edge rushers, which I will talk about soon as well. As the game and offensive approaches change constantly so do the qualities linebackers have to show. Therefore the players listed all have very different skillsets.

With the 2015/16 season in the books my eyes are now fully on college prospects. After looking at the East-West Shrine practices and the game, Senior Bowl week and the NFL Scouting combine, I decided to list the young men who I thought boosted their draft stock the most during these events. A couple of pro days are already in the books, but I didn’t want to take them into account since a lot of them are still coming up. So here are my ten guys in no particular order:

Once again, this is not just a ranking of how good these players are right now, but who they can become. Here is my list of the top ten offensive guys.

This is based on who I think these players can become and not just the top guys right now from one to ten. Each of them can still boost their draft stock with good individual workouts.
