With the 2016 NFL Draft just 21 days from now, I decided to list my top ten ranked player at each position and give an evaluation for all of them. Today I’m starting with the group of running backs. But make sure to check in throughout the next three weeks as I will publish the other top ten lists leading up to draft day.

With the 2015/16 season in the books my eyes are now fully on college prospects. After looking at the East-West Shrine practices and the game, Senior Bowl week and the NFL Scouting combine, I decided to list the young men who I thought boosted their draft stock the most during these events. A couple of pro days are already in the books, but I didn’t want to take them into account since a lot of them are still coming up. So here are my ten guys in no particular order:
The big game is just over a day from now and for this special anniversary in San Francisco I wanted to do a little preview. So I determined the keys for both teams offensively and defensively, predicted the final score and the game’s MVP. As a bonus I added a bold prediction.
With only four teams left standing, I wanted to take a look back at the regular season and pick an offensive and defensive MVP for each team in the league. Some of those guys have been a big reason for their team to make it to the playoffs, while others played like superstars for underperforming teams.
So I wanted to do a list of the best young players in the league and looked for the right age. We have a lot of great players 25 years and older, but under that age it was really hard for me to choose. So you won’t see guys like J.J. Watt, Rob Gronkowski or Lavonte David. Here it is:

If there’s one thing we can be certain about with the NFL is that nothing ever is really certain. The 2015 season has been loaded with surprises, so I thought about which have been the biggest. For the purpose of this I listed the four best and worst surprises of the year so far. Let’s start with the good stuff:
After listing the top ten offensive players in the league last week, I did the same for the guys on the opposite side of the ball as well. Once again the criteria includes playmaking ability, consistency and being on the field. By that I mean players who contribute to their team’s success every week and who make plays in critical moments. Here’s my top ten:
At this point of the season a lot of analysts like to rank their top players by position, as we have gotten a good impression of the top players in the league. I chose a different way, as I decided to rank my top ten offensive players in the league right now outside of the O-Line regardless of position. My criteria includes playmaking ability, consistency and health. By that I mean players who have been contributors for their teams for the majority of the season and in critical moments. At the top stands:
Heading into week 5 and with a quarter of the season already in the books (!) there have been a couple of surprises. I predicted the Ravens to win the AFC, but they are 1-3 right now, the Falcons are two more wins away from their 2014 total and the Eagles right now are at the bottom of the NFC East standings. To find a way to figure out all this craziness, I decided to rank all 32 teams. But instead of ranking them only based on the record, I wanted to give my opinion on who I think has played the best and how they will play from here on out.
Finally, the regular season is on its way and we’re starting a brand new season of football. For the start of this one I decided to predict every award, every leader in major statistical categories and tell you who I think will square off in Super Bowl 50. Let’s get in on the way!
