The Chicago Bears currently lead the NFC North with a 10-4 record, thanks to timely big-time throws by their quarterback, an opportunistic defense, but most importantly, a smashmouth run game orchestrated by Ben Johnson. I want to illustrate how they’ve found this much success on the ground, thanks to all the different layers and great attention to detail.
On the eve of Thanksgiving, I wanted to get out this video on four things I’m thankful for being able to watch around the league, on a weekly basis – including both players and coaches, two on offense and defense each.
Buffalo came into the 2025 season as Super Bowl favorites. After focusing on the top quarterback plays last week, I decided to flip things around and highlight some of my favorite defensive moments from this past week!
We’ll go through the play-calls on both sides, discussing the rules/assignments for the individual pieces and how they ended up working in concert to win those downs as a unit!

While there have been several highly impressive individual and team performances through two weeks of the 2024 NFL season, in terms of how he was asked to execute, nobody might’ve played a better single game than Seahawks QB Geno Smith at New England this past Sunday afternoon – and it’s not being discussed nearly enough!
