Every year some players at the bottom of team’s rosters around the league emerge and that’s what this list is about. The idea is not to talk about Pro Bowlers who may take the next step, but rather about guys and position groups who many people don’t even know of. All of them take on different roles – some might crack the starting lineups while others make their impact as a rotational players while some units will be much better than they were just a year ago. With the preseason in full swing we got a first look at all of them.

Biggest roster holes in the NFL:
No roster in the NFL is perfect. Good players move on if they don’t get paid as much as they would like, draft picks don’t always meet expectations and there’s a cap limit because of which teams don’t have the money to invest equally in every position. So it’s not only the teams who select early in the draft who would like to upgrade some position groups. All of them would benefit from that. So here are the biggest holes on some of the NFL’s rosters.
Biggest remaining needs for all 32 NFL teams:
With the first days of training camp in full swing every NFL organization has to look at their roster and point out the biggest positional needs for their team to have as much success as possible. Without any further ado, here it is:
Biggest offseason priorities for each NFL team: AFC edition
In addition to my piece on the NFC here is my segment on all 16 AFC teams. Once again this is what I think teams should do to improve from where they were last year with a couple of names being real possibilities to bring in via the draft or free agency. They might not be available and they aren’t just the best guys out there, but rather what would make sense to me. And it’s about what should be on top of their list for this offseason.
Here it is:
Biggest offseason priorities for each NFL team: NFC edition
In this segment I want to take a look at each team individually and what I think will be most important things they’ll need to do to improve their team. Some already have the pieces in place and should only make sure they keep them and add depth to their roster, while others have needs at specific positions they should fill. For each position of need I listed the players who I think would help them the most and who are real possibilities, teams could add via the draft or free agency. So those aren’t simply the best guys available. And some of the free agents may not be available since they agree on contracts with the team they’re already on.
Here are all 16 NFC teams:
