With the 2016 NFL Draft just 21 days from now, I decided to list my top ten ranked player at each position and give an evaluation for all of them. Today I’m starting with the group of running backs. But make sure to check in throughout the next three weeks as I will publish the other top ten lists leading up to draft day.

With the 2015/16 season in the books my eyes are now fully on college prospects. After looking at the East-West Shrine practices and the game, Senior Bowl week and the NFL Scouting combine, I decided to list the young men who I thought boosted their draft stock the most during these events. A couple of pro days are already in the books, but I didn’t want to take them into account since a lot of them are still coming up. So here are my ten guys in no particular order:
So with a crazy Draft weekend in the books and a chance for me to evaluate every team’s draft class, I decided to determine who really helped themselves and who was hurt by some moves made. In addition to that I’ll name the biggest surprises that came up and which players were the greatest value-picks. Let’s dive right into it:
Finally here it is. With all the articles leading up to this I present you my first round mock draft.
With the Draft just three days from now I want to take a look at three possible players each time could target with their first pick. There’s no guarantee those guys will be available, but if they are I see a good chance for each team to take either one of them. Certainly Draft day trades and surprise picks can change the complexity of the entire process, but still there are a few prospects out there I assume are high on the respective team’s big boards.
With just over two weeks until the Draft I decided to put together a part of my draft board. Like every team’s scouting department I listed my top prospects regardless of position. Usually the next step would be to look at my team’s needs and who could fill them. But when you think of the best teams in the league they are smart enough to only look at the holes on their roster secondly and take the best player available. To me the best general manager to do so is the Baltimore Ravens’ Ozzie Newsome. I didn’t go through all the players available, but with a hundred of them listed I at least have myself covered for the first three rounds.
I already talked about my top ten prospects for each position on offense and defense, so I decided to take a look at some players who might not be on everybody’s radar, but whom we should really keep an eye on. Of the twelve names mentioned you probably won’t hear any called before the third day of the Draft, but they could become impact players at some point.
Finally, after watching lots and lots of tape to analyze the players, I finished my list of the top ten guys for each position with the defensive prospects. Once again, this is not just a ranking of how good these players are right now, but who they can become. Here is my list of the top ten offensive guys.

This is based on who I think these players can become and not just the top guys right now from one to ten. Each of them can still boost their draft stock with good individual workouts. Today I’m taking a look at the offensive players. Here they are:
With the Senior Bowl and all other games in the books scouts made their way to Indianapolis to see the athleticism of all the prospects. A couple of standouts left impressions on visitors while others failed to impress. Here are my top 10 players to improve their draft stock during the weekend plus a summary of the Combine (This isn’t any particular ranking):
