Top 10 interior offensive linemen of the 2025 NFL Draft:

Continuing the trench portion of our positional draft rankings, we’re moving to the inside with offensive guards and centers, who for the purposes of this exercise we’re going to combine, although I’ll specify if I prefer individual players at one specific spot. This group includes several tackle conversion candidates, who based on a lack of length or just a more fitting skill-set to me project better to the interior.

Thanks to the amount of guys who played on the edges in college but ended up in this portion, I actually prefer this class by quite a significant margin. There are four names who I believe you can make a strong case for as potential first-rounders and the other six guys should all come off the board some time on day two. What I liked however is how many prospects I went through that I could legitimately see stick on the back-end of an NFL roster.

Top 10 interior offensive linemen of the 2024 NFL Draft:

Week two of the big men portion as part of this positional draft rankings series is here and we start on offense yet again! This group includes guards and centers, where I’ll specify which of the three interior spots I believe guys can plug into at the next level, as well as potentially kick out to tackle in a pinch for a few of them, and also explain which offensive systems they’d optimally fit with.

This group is not as strong at the top specifically as the offensive tackle class, but I think we have at least two names worthy of going in the first round and the other nine (including one name who just missed the cut) all deserve to go on day two. After that, the rest of the group understandably has some flaws but also intriguing features, such as athleticism, raw strength or other to build upon. Let me quickly mention that this analysis is purely based on film evaluation, since there’s a medical situation to pay attention to with numbers three and six.

Top 10 interior offensive linemen of the 2023 NFL Draft:

Continuing our discussion on the players in the trenches for this draft class, we’re moving on from offensive tackles and edge defenders to interior offensive and defensive linemen this week. As always, we’ll start on the side that has the ball and then transition to the guys lining up across from them on Friday. This group includes offensive guards and centers, which I’ll clarify if I believe the names mentioned fit better at specific spots or if they are capable of filling multiple roles.

This isn’t one of the strongest IOL classes we’ve seen in recent years, but there are two prospects worthy of going in the first round, three other guys in the top-50 range and about four more names who could go on day-two. Where I was surprised as I started digging deeper were some of the guys currently projected to go sixth/seventh round or even undrafted, who I believe could stick on NFL rosters for a while. So they may not come up here, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw a bunch of guards and centers get picked late.

Top 10 interior offensive linemen in the 2020 NFL Draft:

We have reached week two of my positional draft rankings and it is time to look a little into the trenches, with the top interior linemen on either side of the ball.

This group of includes all centers and guards, which also means the collegiate tackles who I expect to move inside at the next level.

Back in December the interior OL class did not look overly exciting, but with a few very talented centers deicing to come out this year already, there is much more to talk about. Overall this list is ruled by the center position, with two easily earning top-50 grades and seven altogether in my top ten.
